This course is intended to provide the owner of the AR-15 type carbine with the knowledge and skills to effectively use this weapon in defense of family and home in the event of a disaster such as the situation in New Orleans. This is NOT a military operator or SWAT course, but a basic close range rifle fighting course. If you own an AR, you should know how to properly run it, and hit with it at speed at distances of 25 yards and under.

For this course you will need an AR-15 type carbine in .223/5.56mm, at least two magazines, and a sling. We will supply everything else, including 200 rounds of factory ammunition. If you don't have a carbine yet, you can rent one for an additional $25.00.
