Combined Skills
This course features Tom Givens of Rangemaster, plus Steve Moses, Allan McBee, and Troy Miller, MD, from Bluff Dale Firearms Academy in Texas. This is a unique course offering.
Tom Givens will do a segment on tactics based on lessons learned from Rangemaster student involved shooting incidents and other sources, plus a live fire segment on advanced handgun skills.
Allan McBee will conduct a session focusing on speed from real street concealment clothing, rather than a specially rigged IDPA vest.
Steve Moses will conduct a segment on home defense tactics, and Dr. Troy Miller, a trauma care physician, will do a segment on first aid for gunshot victims.
Students will rotate in small groups through these blocks of instruction all weekend. There is a classroom session on Friday evening, followed by two full training days on Saturday and Sunday. Tuition is $450.00

Combative Pistol 1
This is an intensive weekend course that covers all of the essential skills involved in fighting with a handgun. There is an all day session Saturday and Sunday, 9:00am to 6:00pm.
Topics covered in this course will include:
Expect to fire about 1,000 rounds of ammunition. This course is designed expressly for the armed citizen who carries a concealed handgun, or the plain clothes or off duty police officer.
You will need a good handgun, holster, belt, and magazine pouch, at least three magazines, a ball cap and concealment garment (vest, jacket, windbreaker, etc), eye and ear protection, and rain gear (we train rain or shine). A cooler with soft drinks and snacks is a very good idea.
You will need a quality handgun and gear. It is a good idea to bring a second gun just like your primary, in case something breaks on your primary gun. Please bring good quality ammunition. You will shoot better, your gun will function better, and you will learn faster.
Tuition is $425.00 and preregistration is required.
Your primary instructor will be Tom Givens, of Rangemaster, assisted by Lynn Givens, a Rangemaster certified firearms instructors.
