Friday Night Shooting League
PURPOSE
THIS IS NOT AN IDPA MATCH
This is a venue for our students to gain experience using their sidearms from concealment under stressful conditions.
You do not have to be a member of any organization to participate, however, you must be a Rangemaster student.

WHEN/WHERE?
Most Friday nights, starting at 6:00 PM at Rangemaster. Call to verify.

WHAT DO I NEED TO COMPETE?
Handgun, belt, holster, 2 or more magazines, magazine pouches, approximately 40-70 rounds of jacketed ammo (may be purchased at the range), concealment clothing, and flashlight (sometimes).

Cost: $15.00

Principles
To promote the safe and proficient use of handguns in real world self-defense scenarios.

To offer a practical shooting venue that allows the competitors to concentrate on the development of their shooting skills and to fellowship with other like minded shooters.

Shooters will not airgun or take sight pictures at any time.
Course of Fire
Courses of fire will simulate real world self-defense scenarios and build skills needed in real confrontations.

The majority of shots fired will be under 15 yards and most stages will begin from concealment.

Precision close range shooting while moving and at moving targets is emphasized.
Scoring Method
Vickers Count - with procedural, non threat, and other penalties.
Required Handgun/Caliber
9mm Parabellum or larger. All handguns and equipment MUST be suitable for every day concealed carry, no exceptions.
Limit on number of shooters
The number of shooters is limited to 20, for safety reasons and time considerations.
Other
Reload methods will be dictated by the Range Officer / course of fire, and will include tactical reloads, speed reloads, and emergency reloads.
SAFETY PROCEDURES
The range will usually be operated as a HOT RANGE (gun loaded at all times). Unsafe gun handling will result in disqualification for the entire evening, and may result in a shooter being banned from the league. Note the following:
